When the company was recruiting new business participants, I really wanted to be one of them.
The current title is "co-founder" of Agritorio. I named this myself. In 2017, when the company was recruiting members for its new business, I raised my hand and declared, "I have a dream!". The company wanted to start a new non-automotive business with social significance. I talked with two other members about what to do under the terms offered by the company. Considering the characteristics of the Higashimikawa region where our head office is located, we decided to focus on agriculture. While cabbage and other agricultural products are doing well, there are concerns about the aging of the population and the shortage of farmers. Is there a business that can solve these problems? We have developed a human resources matching service called "Know (Agriculture) - How" that enables you to find people who want to work in the agricultural field by simply registering on your smartphone.
In April 2019, we launched a full-scale service to address the aging of farmers and the shortage of labor.
Combining Musashi's know-how with my own experience
Actually, Musashi's strength is utilized in the agricultural method. Applicants looking for a job can learn how to harvest crops in advance by watching a video on their smartphone, so that they can be ready to work at the early point. Musashi's specialty is the know-how to extract important parts from a series of tasks and make them into a manual. I have also learned firsthand about manufacturing and on-site management. In my own opinion, the accounting work I have experienced since then and the knowledge of bookkeeping from my high school days have helped me to think about business profits. Of course, I didn't know anything about agriculture at all, so I learned a lot by asking farmers even though I was not familiar with the professional language. Currently, the company is working to cooperate with the welfare industry by supporting the independence of the elderly and is reviewing services to promote their use. The challenge continues with the introduction of AI image recognition as one of MUSASHI's new specialties.
