More patents were applied in 2019 compared to other years due to new business launch and display at a motor show abroad. In the other fiscal years, from 10 to 20 patents were applied. Cost can be saved through the acquisition of technical right as much as possible. We also utilize the Chinese utility model system allowing registration without being examined to acquire technical right at low cost if it is relatively less significant.
The number of patent applications (first country) shows a total number of patents applied in Japan and internationally. Most of the patents are also applied in other major countries.
