  3. Musashi Announces an Investment in ARC Ride
Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (Global Headquarters: Toyohashi-city, Aichi, Japan; President and CEO: Hiroshi Otsuka, “Musashi”) has made a strategic investment in ARC Ride (Headquarters: Nairobi, Kenya; CEO: Jo Hurst-Croft, “ARC Ride”). Musashi and ARC Ride are collaborating to promote the adoption of new E-mobility technologies in East Africa.
Musashi and ARC Ride has also set up an R&D partnership, where Musashi will not only deliver ARC Ride its electric power train unit (which includes a motor and a PCU), but also work together with ARC Ride in order to design the next generation parts exclusively for electric two and three wheel vehicles in East Africa, as well as promoting the data business. ARC Ride facilitates an assembly plant in Nairobi, and aims to electrify the two and three wheel vehicles market in Kenya initially, while expanding to other countries in East Africa as well.

Musashi will promote the development of e-mobility in East Africa, as well as contributing to the realization of a prosperous global community, where people and environment are in harmony. Musashi also seeks to enhance its strategy towards carbon neutrality by way of partnering with ARC Ride.
