In India, the world's largest two-wheeler market, the government has set a target of converting 80% of two-wheelers to electric vehicles by 2030. Under the government's initiative, the shift to EVs for two-wheelers is accelerating ahead of four-wheelers, and the need for local production of two-wheel EVs is growing rapidly.
The e-Axle for two-wheel EVs, which has started mass production, will be installed in the Perfetto, which will be marketed by BNC (Head office: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India; CEO: Anirudh Ravi Narayanan),
