M Lab

To establish plant bio business, M Lab (Morita Atsuko Lab) has been set up in Musashi head office. M Lab is headed by Ms. Morita Atsuko, a leading expert of phytotherapy in Japan as well as a representative of Waphyto Inc. that Musashi invests and participates in management.
Musashi has undertaken collaborative bio research with universities to utilize the functional ingredients of plants yielded in the East Mikawa region. Musashi signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Toyohashi University of Technology in October 2017 and with Nara Institute of Science and Technology in August 2021. Musashi conducts collaborative research with them on the mechanism of generating functional ingredients and on leading bio science approach on the power of functional ingredients respectively.

We strive to contribute to people's health by establishing the integrated research and development system from procuring materials, research, to product development and improvement as well as by researching and developing the functional ingredients and processing of plants yielded in the unique soil of the East Mikawa region.
