Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (Global Headquarters: Toyohashi-city, Aichi, Japan; President and CEO: Hiroshi Otsuka) has made an investment in Monozukuri Ventures (Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan; President and CEO: Mr. Narimasa Makino), a venture capital located in Japan with a secondary office in New York, USA.

Monozukuri Ventures will aim for hardware focused startups, that has the potential for extraordinary technologies. Additionally, Monozukuri Ventures will set startups that can manufacture prototypes as a target, as well as having the capability of corresponding to the current Corona virus situation.

【About Monozukuri Ventures】
Monozukuri Ventures is a Kyoto and New York based venture capital which focuses on startups that have the capability to develop hardware products. It also acts as a consulting business that helps the startups in their growth. In January 2020, Kyoto’s Darma Tech Labs (which operates “Makers Boot Camp”) along with New York’s FabFoundry Inc. were launched in order to promote and support hardware startups. MBC Shisaku fund, which runs by Monozukuri Ventures, was formed in 2017 and invested in 32 companies (15 in Japan and 17 in the USA) until December 2020. It assists more than 70 prototype projects.
